Javier Muñoz-Díaz is a literary and cultural critic. He has a Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has taught at University of Denver and University of Michigan. His research focuses on the cultural history of the Andean and Amazon regions, Indigenismo, Indigenity, LGBTQ+ Studies, and Environmental Humanities. He is currently working on his first book manuscript titled “Indigenous Authorship: Racialization of Writing and Development of Extractives Economies in South America.”
